In this class you’ll be able to dance directly with Jorge Melo and practice your lead and follow. At the same time, I will be guiding you to help you with the steps and make sure that you are learning! You’ll have both the men and woman perspective on the same class!
We will start with the basic steps, covering up to three different dances of your choice in the same class to make sure that you are a well-rounded Latin dancer. We will be focusing primarily on Salsa since is the most popular dance at the clubs in Chicago. The style of dance that will be taught is CLUB STYLE, so be prepared to have fun, get down, shake it, and dance non-stop!
LATIN CLUB LEVEL I:
This class will cover the basic steps in Salsa, Merengue, Bachata & Cha-Cha-Cha (Your Choice) You’ll not only be learning steps, but also movement, style, lead/follow techniques, rhythm, and more… This is for the newest dancers! Also good for practice, refreshing, or just for fun!
LATIN CLUB LEVEL II:
This class will cover intermediate steps, turns, tricks, swivels, etc. in Salsa, Merengue, Bachata & Cha-Cha-Cha (Your Choice). I feel that anybody should learn and enjoy the diversity of Latin music. We’re doing them all!
